Workshop 3D Semantic Data Modelling

The workshop ‘3D Semantic Data Modelling’ with Paola Ronzino is held within the scope of the international conference ‘Mediating the Spatiality of Conflicts’ at the Faculty of Architecture of the TU Delft from November 6 – 8. Participants will first learn how to label, categorize and interconnect large sets of data, and then use this knowledge to build reference models that can be applied in complex urban settings for concrete reconstruction proposals. After a brief introduction of the CIDOC-CRM ontology and its extension for the built heritage (CRMba), participants will be encouraged to reflect on their experiences and to discuss how ontology can help exploring new research opportunities.
