Ahmad Baydoun

Ahmad Beydoun is an architect and researcher who frequently operates in investigative settings. He is interested in developing research-based projects around collective memory on-site and in generated environments. Ahmad has worked as a lead researcher on "Atmospheric Pressure" with Lawrence Abu Hamdan. It is a research project that explores the link between territoriality and atmospheric violence in Lebanon. Ahmad is currently involved in the development of "Cartography of Darkness" in collaboration with Jessika Khazrik; which is a three-dimensional map of Lebanon that visualizes the invisible layers of corruption. His doctoral research with Borders & Territories focuses on the link between conditioned environments, toxic infrastructure, and the Lebanese electoral law.
